A specially formulated stool softener designed to alleviate occasional constipation.
Colace Clear® is an over the counter, dye-free, stool softener that effectively promotes bowel movement, typically within a timeframe of one (1) to three (3) days.
Its active ingredient, docusate sodium, works by gently softening the stool, making it more manageable to pass and alleviating discomfort associated with constipation symptoms.
Additionally, facilitating stool evacuation reduces the need for straining during bowel movements.

Increases the amount of water the stool absorbs in the gut, making the stool softer and easier to pass.

Typically produces bowel movement within one (1) to three (3) days.
Usage Information
Dosage - Colace Clear® comes in a bottle containing 60 capsules.
A usual adult dose is 1 or 2 capsules, once or twice a day, or as directed by your physician. Dosage should not exceed 4 capsules in 24 hours.
A usual child dose, for children between 6 to 11 years old, is 1 capsule per day. Dosage should not exceed 1 capsule in 24 hours.
Always drink at least one full glass of water when taking Colace Clear®.
Ingredients:
Active ingredient: Docusate Sodium.
Inactive ingredients: Gelatin, Glycerin, PEG-400, Propylene Glycol, Sorbitol Sorbitan Solution.
Storage - Store between 15°C and 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
Cautions and Warnings - Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are allergic to docusate sodium or any other ingredient in this product. Stop taking the product and contact your physician immediately if rectal bleeding occurs, symptoms persist or last for more than one week or you notice a sudden change in bowel habits that last for more than 2 weeks.
Do not use this product if you experience other symptoms, including severe abdominal pain, nausea, fever or vomiting.
If you are taking any other medications, speak to your doctor or pharmacist before choosing a laxative or stool softening product. Do not take stool softeners with mineral oil.
If you’re pregnant or breast-feeding, consult a healthcare professional prior to using.
